The Multi Lead > One lead, two systems!

The Multi Lead can be fished in two different versions, as a lead clip system or as an outline system.

Lead Clip System

If the multi-lead is used as a “lead clip system” in conjunction with the “full metal lead clip”, excellent hooking properties are obtained in comparison to side leads that are simply attached to the lead clip. Due to a suitable “system connector”, which is attached to the front of the multi-lead, the full weight of the lead acts on the hook just like with an inline lead. The anterior tube of the connector detaches itself from the lead when the carp tries to escape or shakes its head. Now the lead is merely attached to the side arm of the lead clip. Depending on the setting of the Rubber, it then triggers as desired. With this setup, the positive hooking properties of an inline lead are combined with those of a side lead which is fished at the lead clip.

Outline System

When using the outline system, the lead is firmly attached to the end of the “lead core leader” - similar to a helicopter rig. This system is designed to prevent the loss of your leads. The rig is connected to the “quick change” at the end of the lead in the same way as with a lead clip or inline system. It remains freely movable on the main line behind the hook. In the case the line breaks, the fish can easily free itself from the line, only remaining with rig and connector. This system utilizes the excellent hooking properties of an inline lead. During the drill however, an inline lead builds up high pressure that can be felt on the rod and also work on the hook in the fish’s mouth - what can cause hook pulls. With our outline system the lead can move freely after the bite and puts much less resistance on the line. Conclusion: Safe hooking, safe drills!

Both setups are well suited for throwing with stick or PVA bag.
